Prachanda pledges representation of visually impaired in Commission on Inclusion
Kathmandu, July 20 : CPN Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has pledged the visually impaired people for their representation in the commission on inclusion.
Addressing an event organized by the Nepal Association of the Blind on the occasion of its silver jubilee here today, leader
spoke of the need to embark on a journey of prosperity objecting the actions aimed at foiling the political stability in the country.
The former Prime Minister asserted that one and all should work on achieving the government’s slogan of socialism-oriented prosperity in Nepal.
Stating that Nepal’s constitution was the best one from the inclusiveness and proportional point of view, he pointed out the need to move ahead formulating necessary Acts and law for the effective implementation of the same.
Prachanda warned that some forces were posing threat to the political stability of the country.
Similarly, National Assembly’s lawmaker Prakash Panta underscored the effective implementation of the constitution’s provisions concerning the rights of the people with disability.
Likewise, National Federation of Disabled Nepal Chairperson Sudarshan Subedi demanded a high-powered trust that would help secure the rights of the people with disability.
