PM Oli directs to complete all works related to BIMSTEC on time
Kathmandu, Aug 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the bodies concerned to complete all preparatory works leading up to the BIMSTEC summit on time.
In the second meeting of the National Main Committee formed under chairmanship of Prime Minister Oli held at Office of the Prime Minister on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli said so after acquiring information about the preparation for the fourth BIMSTEC Summit scheduled to be held in the capital on August 30 and 31.
Joint-Spokesperson at the Foreign Ministry, Rambabu Dhakal, told Rastriya Samachar Samiti that the Prime Minister asked all ministries and bodies to complete all their responsibilities regarding BIMSTEC Summit.
He said the Prime Minister stressed that all should honestly contribute from their respective side to make the Summit, associated with the country’s pride, a success.
Members of Council of Ministers, the Chief Secretary and the Chiefs of four security agencies are members of the Committee.
