Government’s national responsibility is economic prosperity: PM Oli
Kathmandu, Nov 8 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government’s supreme national responsibility, resolve and focus of work is the economic prosperity.
The Prime Minister stated this in a message of best wishes he gave today on the occasion of Tihar. The PM has expressed his resolve to upgrade the country from the under-developed status in the next four years by breaking the backwardness among the people, underdevelopment and the vicious cycle of poverty.
”The pace of economic development would be expedited now even to compensate for the valuable time squandered in the past. We are steadfastly committed to achieve the sustainable development goals by 2030,” PM Oli has said.
He noted that the government was moving ahead taking the private sector along for bringing happiness in the face of every Nepali. In this connection the Industry and Commerce Promotion Dialogue Council has been formed some times back under my chairmanship, which comprises institutions and senior people associated with the industry and commerce sector for this very objective, the Prime Minister stated in the message.
Noting that this was the appropriate time to take the country ahead on the path of economic transformation, he has stated that political stability has already been maintained in the country.
”The government is dedicated to good governance. Relations with the both neighbours to the north and south has not only been kept on an even keel it has been further deepened,” the Prime Minister said, adding that Nepal has a majority of active population and the country would be moved ahead on the path of economic transformation on the basis of this favourable condition.
PM Oli has expressed best wishes that may every Nepali get inspired on this occasion of Laxmi Puja and Tihar, the symbol of prosperity, to contribute as per their capacity to achieve the national goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
