Lumbini, 10 April: Nepali Congress (NC) Chairman and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country and people have not been well recognized.
Unveiling the full-size statue of martyr Yadavanath Alok erected in Tilottama Municipality-13 Tikuligadh of Rupandehi district on Wednesday, President Deuba argued that the martyrs do not belong to any particular political party but to the entire country and the people hence their contributions should be adequately respected by all.
President Deuba mentioned that the parties must work to cherish the dreams of martyrs. He expressed his commitment to translate the dreams of Yadavanath Alok into action.
