Country records 45 coronavirus cases in 24 hours



Kathmandu, 29 Sept : The country recorded 45 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

The caseloads were from the total 2,678 tests (1,307 PCR and 1,371 antigen), according to the Ministry of Health and Population. So far, the 986,617 have got over the deadly virus with 70 in the latest update.

The recovery rate is 98.7 percent and infection rate 16.8 percent. The number of active infection cases is 1,077 including 595 in the Kathmandu Valley (433 in Kathmandu, 141 in Lalitpur and 21 in Bhaktapur).

The death toll from the infection has reached 12,018. At present, 1,041 infected people are in home-isolation and 36 in institutional isolations. Similarly, nine have been admitted to intensive care units.
