Siraha, 15 April : An elderly person died after being attacked by an elephant at Golbazaar municipality-1 in Siraha district on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Tul Bahadur Ale Magar of Golbazaar municipality-3. The elephant attacked him when he was returning home after attending a dance programme organised at Golbazaar municipality-1.
Chairperson of Golbazaar municipality-3, Dhan Prasad Lama, said Tul Bahadur who was returning home after attending dance programme with friends, could not ran away and the elephant attacked him. Tul Bahadur’s friends, however, were able to escape.
