Kathmandu, 10 Dec : Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the country, at present, is for a common consensus and unity for it.
Pointing out the need for the elected people’s representatives to work with disciplines and devotion, the former Prime Minister said, “We have come in a political playground with our individual competence and the art of speech. Triumph is not a big deal.
We must implement pledges we have made with the people with discipline and devotion.” The leader was speaking at a reception organised to congratulate and welcome the newly elected people’s representatives here today at Suryabinayak Municipality-5 in Bhaktapur district.
It was organized by the Suryanagar Tole Development Society. There is a need for political leaders to cater to the need and aspirations of the people, and resolve their problems, he said. Touching on the country’s economy, he called for a review on the economy that is heading towards a ‘crisis’, and for pursuing economic changes and development activities with political changes.
